Summary Information

Sparking Swarovski bicones in two co-ordinating colours have been woven together to make an elegant and versatile bracelet, finished with a cluster of crystals on an extension chain.  Swarovski crystals are attached to a loop of chain to form a pair of matching earrings.

Materials

Bracelet:

  • 2 pieces of monofilament (fishing line), each 300mm long (S15)
  • 2 crimps (JF79)
  • 1 lobster clasp ( JF84B)
  • 70 colour 1 4mm Swarovski bicones (CGB9S)
  • 34 colour 2 4mm Swarovski bicones (CGB9S)

  • 5 headpins (JF18)

Earrings:

  • 1 pair french post earring fittings (JF21/65)
  • 2 pieces of chain, each 150mm long (C7)
  • 20 headpins (JF18)
  • 10 colour 1 4mm Swarovski bicones (CGB9S)
  • 10 colour 2 4mm Swarovski bicones (CGB9S)

Tools

  • Round nose pliers (S115)
  • Combination pliers (S19)

Variations

You can easily vary this design by buying equal quantities of beads in two colours and putting them on in a different order. Alternating two colours will create diagonals. Threading 3 beads of 1 colour followed by 3 of another will create chevrons.
